"One man's trash is another man's treasure." Bring your old electronics, broken watches and clocks, and old canvas paintings, and create something beautiful from it! This class has two parts. The first half of the class will involve harvesting raw materials for jewelry or mixed media canvas. This includes smashing and dismantling your old computers and watches. Say goodbye to technology! We create interesting works of art that you can wear or display to have your own conversation piece. The second half of the class will use old painted canvases and renew them by adding characters, words, or changes to the settings to make them fun and creative. Students will learn the basics of jewelry making and acrylic painting.
