Make outdoor adventures extra fun with Treats on the Trail! Each guided hike blends exploration, education, and a seasonal sweet treat to create memorable experiences in nature.
With the Costume Hike, dress up for a Halloween-themed adventure full of surprises. A Trick or Treat Hike. Each hike introduces kids to Leave No Trace principles, outdoor safety, and a deeper appreciation for nature while having a blast outdoors and sharing special seasonal treats. Trails are easy, engaging, and filled with excitement for young adventurers and their families.
The fee for this program covers the treat portion per participant. Participant’s guardians and siblings under 3 are welcome to attend at no cost if they are not receiving a treat. Guardians and siblings under 3 who would like to enjoy the treat should register for their own spot. Hike will take place rain or shine!

Withdrawal / Refund Policy/ Removal from Program
Any participant may withdraw from a Springfield Township Parks & Recreation activity, and be entitled to a refund, if such withdrawal and refund request is provided to the Parks & Recreation Department no less than three (3) weeks prior to the start of any program. An administrative fee of $15.00 (per program per child) will be withheld from all processed registrations. Many classes & camps depend on the number of participants and your registration may ensure that the programs will run. NO adjustments or refunds will be made within three (3) weeks of the start of the class or for missed classes/sessions.
